Alok Lahad's journey into Tourism begins as a professor at the prestigious Indian Institute of Travel and Tourism Management (IITTM), in New Delhi. He also worked as an advisor to the most prestigious tour companies like SITA and TCI. In 1992 he joined Tourism leaving behind Academics and his job at the Embassy of Spain. Thus, from a research scholar he became a travel agent. He is well versed in designing, planning and execution of tours and conferences and ad-hoc or incentive. He has been involved in sales and marketing since last two decades and is based in Barcelona, Spain. He has started and marketed products from leading travel agents in Spain, France, and Portugal. Alok speaks six languages including four European ones.

He has varied interests in culture and is interested in theatre and movies. Alok writes poetry, loves social service and follows geopolitics and his passion apart from travel is magic. Abracadabra!
